With our Tokyo partner, CIA Inc., we named and created the identity for this iconic retailer of electric bicycles. In the aftermath of the Fukushima disaster, urban Japanese have turned increasingly to bikes to get around town.  Electic bikes have proven to be a solid alternative to cars in hilly cities, like Tokyo. They are especially practical if you’ve got a baby onboard or need to haul groceries.

 

Results: Motovelo is now the best-known electric bike retailer in Tokyo hosting a wide range of products, services and events. From its headquarter shop in fashionable Daikanyama, the brand has attracted sport bicyclists, mothers, commuters and students alike.
